Travel UK, London, Train Services, Bus Services, Car Rental, Car Hire, Air Tickets

Places in the UK are very well connected by public transport, be it - flight, train or bus services. It has one of the most efficient services in Europe.

If you know your starting point and the destination, it is worthwhile to look at the Traveline website - http://www.traveline.org.uk

Just type in the postcode or place, station or bus stop of your starting point and destination. The website comes up with a timetable and various travel options / connections available during that time. It will also tell you if you have to walk to reach your destination. That’s the first website I lookup when I plan my travel.

Trust me, train travel can be very expensive if you do not plan in advance (except some short journeys).

Compared to the rest of Europe, I think UK’s transport system is one of the most expensive. Hot tip: Book in advance, save money wherever possible.
